Automotive locksmith
Car keys, cut and coded where your car is
Lost every key, want a spare before you need one, or holding a remote that has stopped working — it is done on site, for every major make. We reach most of Melbourne in 15–25 minutes.
Find your make
Pick your car
Each page covers what that make's keys actually involve — the key types, what a lost-all-keys job means, and what to have ready.
Before you book
What to have ready
Two things decide whether the job can happen at all, and it saves everyone a trip to know them up front.
Proof the car is yours
Registration papers or a rego search in your name, plus photo ID matching it. Your locksmith checks this before cutting or coding anything. It is not negotiable and it is not bureaucracy — it is the same rule that stops somebody else asking us for a key to your car.
The make, model and year
The year matters as much as the model — the same badge can use a plain metal key one year and a proximity key the next, and they are different jobs with different prices. It is on your rego papers if you are not sure.
