What a quoted price covers

The price shown when you book covers the work described on that screen, and the inclusions listed with it. Anything outside that scope will be explained to you and approved by you before it goes ahead — you will not be charged for work you have not agreed to.

Where a price is shown as a starting price, or as depending on conditions, that is stated on screen at the time and in your confirmation.

Proof of residency

For any job that involves opening a property or changing who can access it, we will ask you to show that the property is yours or that you are entitled to be there. This protects you as much as it protects anyone else.

Changing or cancelling

Cancel any time before we set off and there is nothing to pay. If we have already arrived, the $40 call-out fee applies — that covers the trip, not the work.

Arrival times

Booked appointment times are the time we plan to arrive. For urgent jobs we give an estimated window based on where your locksmith is at the time. Traffic and the job before yours can move both, and we will let you know if that happens.

What we do and don’t do

SB Locksmith covers residential, commercial and automotive locksmith work. Each is quoted under its own rules, so the service you select determines the price you are shown.

For vehicle work we require proof that the vehicle is yours and photo identification before any key is cut or programmed. We will not proceed without it. We also do not provide information or assistance on defeating or bypassing a lock you do not own.

Your rights

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Australian Consumer Law.
