What we collect
When you get a price we record the answers you give about the job and the suburb you enter. When you book, we also collect your name, mobile number, address and — if you give it — your email.
If you call us and speak to our automated receptionist, we record the details needed to quote and book your job, along with a log of what the system was asked and what it answered. Calls are not recorded.
Why we collect it
To quote your job accurately, get a locksmith to the right address at the right time, send you a confirmation, and keep a record of what you were quoted in case there is ever a question about it.
We only ask for what the job needs. There is no marketing questionnaire attached to booking a locksmith.
Who sees it
Your details go to the locksmith attending your job and are stored in our own booking system. We use a messaging provider to send your confirmation text and email, which means your number and address pass through that provider in order to be delivered.
We do not sell your information, and we do not load third-party advertising scripts. Public pages use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and may collect the pages you visit, interactions, referring website or campaign, device and browser details, and approximate location. Google processes that analytics information for us.
The booking details you submit remain in our booking system as described above. You can limit or delete analytics cookies in your browser settings, or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. You can read more in Google's Privacy Policy.
How long we keep it
We keep booking records for as long as we need them for tax, warranty and dispute purposes. You can ask us to delete information we no longer need to hold.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or complain about how we have handled it. Contact us on 0481 229 929 or info@sblocksmith.com.au.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Security
Access to our booking system requires an account and a password, and every change to pricing or business details is logged against the person who made it.
