Who you’re letting in.

A locksmith gets asked to open somebody’s front door, often at night, usually by someone they have never met. These are the details that let you check us before that happens.

Some of the record is not filled in yet

Still to add: the security licence number. Until each one is entered it is left off this page entirely rather than implied — a business that shows a licence it has not verified is worse off than one that shows none.

Before we open anything

We ask for photo ID and something that connects you to the address or the vehicle.

A licence, a rates notice, a lease, a rego paper. Every time, on every job, with no version of this where we skip it — including at three in the morning when you are cold and it is the last thing you want to hear.

It is the same rule that stops somebody else asking us to open your door.

If something goes wrong

Every job carries a 1 year warranty on our workmanship. What it covers depends on the job and on the parts — your locksmith will tell you what applies to yours before starting.

Anything that turns up outside what you agreed gets explained and agreed before it happens, not added to the invoice afterwards. Destructive entry is the same: if a lock cannot be opened any other way, you hear that first and decide.

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
