Can you make a Ford key if I've lost all of them?
Usually, yes. With no key to copy, the key is cut and coded to the vehicle itself, which is a longer job than cutting a spare but does not need a tow to the dealer. We need to see proof the vehicle is yours and photo ID before anything is cut — that requirement is not negotiable, and it is the same rule that stops someone else asking for a key to your car.
Do you come to me, or do I bring the Ford to you?
We come to you. The van carries the cutting and programming equipment, so the job is done wherever the car is parked — home, work, a shopping centre car park or the roadside. We reach most of Melbourne within 15–25 minutes.
How much does a Ford key cost?
It depends on the key your car takes — a plain metal key, a remote-head key and a proximity key are three different jobs. Tell us the model and year and you will be given the price for your car before anyone starts. We do not quote a figure we have not worked out for your vehicle.
How long does a Ford key take?
